Inspired by the couple’s love of the lush green mountains of Aspen and mixed with their big city sensibility (they call New York home), we designed an organic, but modern wedding day. First up, the bride’s stunning ball gown by designer Dennis Basso was paired with a dramatic cathedral length lace veil. The green and white bouquet by Aspen Branch featured garden roses, freesia, ranunculus accented by camellia foliage. For the ‘maids and flower girls, long white dresses were picked, breaking with the tradition that only the bride can wear white. The ceremony took place on the Sundeck at The Little Nell with a floral arch marking the spot. At the reception, the lush green outdoors were brought inside with centerpieces filled with ferns and green hydrangea in low and high arrangements. Indeed, even the the escort cards was a nod to nature with lush hedges creating a backdrop for the chic hexagons which featured guests’ names. Behind the bar, a wall of green was accented with a custom neon sign, saying “Crazy Love.” Finally the wedding cake by D’Elissous featured four simple white tiers accented with springs of greenery and even more hedging flanked the cake.
