Mari and Brian’s wedding at Chaparral Ranch in Woody Creek, Colorado, was an evening we’ll never forget. Layers and textures were critical to every moment of this wedding from the invitation (suede, brass, paper, and so much dimension) to the décor (cue the greenery dripping from the ceiling and velvet draping), furniture and entertainment. Guests were greeted at the ceremony with a 16-piece orchestra and then we shifted gears during cocktail hour to an amazing Bluegrass band. We went back to the string ensemble during dinner but went with contemporary music while everyone dined on comfort food. Then the party began with a grand reveal to show half of the venue the guests didn’t know existed and a band ready to keep the evening going until the wee hours.
