Lauren and Chris met at a wedding in North Carolina, got engaged back home in New York City, and when it came time to plan a wedding, called us because Lauren is close friends with one of our former grooms. The couple had decided on Aspen as a location because it’s somewhat of a middle point—his family spends time in the Adirondacks and Vail and hers enjoys visiting Aspen. The top of the mountain was the perfect spot for their joyful, love-filled, and fun-packed evening, that incorporated Carolina blue as a nod to Chris’s days at UNC. Lots of green touches, candles, and timeless flowers gave it all a sophisticated-yet-comfortable feel that felt true to the couple’s style.
