Emma and Nish’s wedding was the perfect celebration of culture: a multi-day traditional Indian wedding fused the charm of Southern hospitality set amidst the grandeur of the Colorado mountains. In honor of the groom’s heritage, traditional Indian elements like garlands of mums, colorful silk saris, and a sitar player were incorporated throughout their wedding. Design elements in bright and festive shades of crimson, amber, and marigold reflected the foliage of the season and the jewel tones seen so commonly in Indian traditions were used from guest entry through the end of the night. A gorgeous custom silk tent liner with gold stars filled the dancing tent, while multicultural food stations featured traditional Indian fare such as chicken tikka masala and naan bread to Southern favorites like fried chicken, okra, and biscuits.
