Emily and Jason met through a mutual friend in February 2018 and come 2020, were ready to tie the knot. Always intending on keeping the guest list small (even before the pandemic), they came to us in May for an intimate Aspen wedding later that summer. With a short time frame, it all came together very quickly. A site visit came first, and decisions were made soon after.
Since this pair loves the outdoors and wanted to showcase the backcountry of Aspen, views were highlighted as much as possible. It was a logistical puzzle making sure that all vendors were able to make it up the 4WD road to the venue but it was amazing to see all the pieces make it up the mountain and having it all come together. This outdoor celebration began with a ceremony overlooking the mountains and continued with dinner under the clear-span tent to truly maximize their surroundings.
As an added bonus we sadly can’t take credit for, the sky was so clear you could even see the Milky Way—which Alp & Isle captured just as wonderfully as the rest of this sweet little wedding.
