Nature lovers Rachel and Sasha got engaged on a boat in the Swiss Alps, and with Rachel growing up in Aspen, it was amidst the mountains of Colorado that they got married. Wanting their big day to feel like a Dutch still life painting in spring time it was all about flowers but also dark and moody tones. Nothing too goth and nothing too bridal—Rachel wore an indigo dress and Sasha opted for separates that included a colorfully embellished blazer, and their wedding party wore shades of white and cream. They tied the knot at Aspen Meadows Resort, under a chuppah covered with ferns and foliage by Prema with the perfect scenic backdrop. After cocktail hour, everyone moved inside and found their seats at tables named after different trees and situated below hanging installations of greenery. The jewel tone palette and artistic inspiration came to life in the centerpieces—no two of which were alike. Leila Brewster documented the celebration from start to finish, including the joyful ceremony, the smoky signature cocktail, and lively hora.
