Part of the reason why we love planning outdoor weddings so much—particularly here in Colorado—is because we get to celebrate nature and take our design cues from the surroundings. But we also like to put our own spin on things. For Mari and Brian’s wedding, we used loads of greenery and plenty of ivory flowers, but we also incorporated Aspen leaves, wood accents, antlers, and leather for a slightly more modern take on a traditional rustic aesthetic. We set the tone by featuring an illustration and cut-out of the mountains on the invitation,
This late September wedding began outside, but after enjoying cocktail hour and grabbing a cold one at the beer truck guests moved through a massive archway with hanging escort cards to the indoor reception.
