Saturated Hues for this Colorado Estate Wedding

For this couple’s wedding day Star Peak Cabin, a gorgeous private wedding estate, was chosen to host their special day. The date was set at the peak of fall, with the color of the changing leaves serving as the inspiration for the color palette of the wedding. Bright reds, oranges, and yellow created a lush effect at ceremony, where floral arrangements by Mindy Rice appeared to sprout from the ground. Mother nature is of course unpredictable at this time of year, and rain, which is considered good luck on a wedding day, blessed the ceremony. We were prepared with ample umbrellas, blankets, and even gloves were on hand to keep guests comfortable.

Dinner was held in an elegant tent and featured a stunning installation of white papel inspired flags by artist Karina Puente. On tables, more lush, colorful floral arrangements were accented with wood and copper tones. As guests entered the space, a huge display of cut fire wood served as the escort card table. And finally, an elaborate display of fall wedding cakes featured seasonal pine cones and bright red berries. All was captured by photographer James and Schulze.
