Virginia Edelson is the founder and principal of Bluebird Productions. She moved to Aspen, Colorado after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2006. Originally drawn to Aspen for its winter ski season, Virginia quickly fell in love with the summer and autumnal months, as well as the amazing activities, food, and culture Aspen has to offer. She calls her hometown “the perfect mix of a small town with big city amenities.” After two years of playing in the snow as a ski instructor, she worked at The Little Nell as a Catering Sales and Events Manager where she developed a sharp attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a high standard for providing the utmost quality of service for each of her clients – all of which would lead her to found her own wedding and special events production company. Virginia lives in Old Snowmass, just 20 minutes from downtown Aspen with her husband, two children: two-year old Zach and infant Elizabeth, and avalanche rescue dog.
Jenny started her career working on nonprofit events and galas, first for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and then for the Aspen Music Festival and School. A recent addition to the Bluebird team, Jenny is excited to be helping couples to bring their unique vision for their wedding day to life. When not planning events, Jenny enjoys hiking in the Roaring Fork Valley and in Utah, karaoke, and making and tasting craft cocktails.
Olivia Van Domelen
Olivia grew up in Aspen and recently returned to the Roaring Fork Valley after a 3 year adventure in Seattle. Aspen is by far her favorite place to call home and also home to where she got married in September 2017. She shares her home here with her husband, Travis, and puppy Rudy.
Event planning has given her the opportunity to connect with people and help and plan for one of the most exciting times of their lives. Olivia has a passion in anything outdoors. In her free time, Olivia loves to ski, run, hike, exercise, and travel to the other exotic locations.
Janie is the rare Aspen native! She joined the Bluebird team summer of 2014 as an intern, left for sunny California for the winter, and returned never to leave again. Her bubbly and warm personality make her a joy to be around in the office, at events or out and about in Aspen. Janie loves horses, photography, fashion and this adorable town we call home.
